National Patient Surveys
The Department of Health has developed a number of national patient surveys which are carried out in NHS Trusts and Primary Care Trusts by approved providers across the country. The purpose of these surveys is to learn what patients think about our services and to take steps to improve them where problems become apparent. The Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust Surveys are carried out by a company called Picker. It's important to remember that the results were presented as a "problem score". This means that the lower the score the better the Trust's performance.
