Chaplaincy volunteers
Chaplaincy volunteers are particular to the Chaplaincy Service.
About 70 Chaplaincy volunteers visit patients on hospital wards.
A further 2 Catholic Chaplaincy volunteers collect wheelchair patients from wards and accompany them to 4.00pm Sunday Mass in LGI Chapel.
All our volunteers make an extremely valuable and much appreciated contribution to the work of Chaplaincy Services.
For existing Chaplaincy volunteers there are two in-service training days each year and a July quiet day away from Leeds city at a pleasant location.
