The National Society for Epilepsy is committed to providing information and support to people with epilepsy, their families, friends and professionals involved in their care, and to raising awareness of epilepsy among the general public. In addition, they provide care for people with epilepsy through medical, residential and rehabilitation services. They have a confidential UK epilepsy helpline, which offers information, support and a listening ear. If you would like to talk to someone about any aspect of epilepsy, you can phone on 01494 601400 between 10am and 4pm, Monday to Friday.

Brightening the lives of seriously and terminally ill children by trying to grant their wishes.

To qualify for a wish, a few simple criteria have to be met. The child must:

  • be suffering from a potentially life shortening or life threatening illness
  • be aged between 4-18 inclusive
  • be able to choose and articulate the wish for themselves
  • not to have received a wish from another wish granting organisation
