This website has been designed to help you and your child prepare for your visit to our team, as well as to introduce you to the people that you are likely to meet during your time here.
Leeds has threee child development centres serving the city, we serve the West and North-West sectors of the city. The other two centres serve the South and East/North-East sectors respectively. All three child develipment centres have close links and are part of the same service.
Role of the team:The Leeds West/North West Child Development Centre is an assessment and treatment centre where specialist help is provided for preschool children (under 5 years) with developmental difficulties. Our multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals and key workers aim to work alongside families, carers and nursery staff meeting the children’s various needs, in order to provide the best possible management. |

Services we provide:The Leeds West/North West Child Development Centre provides a number of services with the aim of effectively tailoring a management plan specific to your child. These services include full team assessment, communication assessment and paediatrician clinics. More information on specific services can be found on the what we do section of the site. |
