Welcome to Children’s Services Patient Information Video
This short information video has been produced to aid the admission process for parents/carers and families who will be bringing their child to one of the Children’s Wards at the Leeds General Infirmary. The information on the video includes topics such as where to get a drink, where to park, visiting times and how to help us to keep reduce the incidence of infection. There is also a short story about a child called Katy who is admitted to hospital.
The video is also available on the Trusts patient’s information system called ‘Patient Line’. When you arrive to the ward please ask the staff to show you how to access the video. It runs every 10 minutes throughout the day.
Children’s Services aims to ensure children and their parents/carers feel valued and that their needs are considered prior to admission to any children’s ward within the Trust.
