Drunk with vomiting

Do not panic this happens to us all!!
When drunk the blood glucose level falls
Monitor blood glucose hourly
Give sugary drinks if tolerated or suck Dextrosol
If worried discuss with ward or Diabetic Nurse Specialist and call 999 for an ambulance if necessary
