Early signs and symptoms of motor neurone disease(MND)

The signs of MND are very variable and people can have very different symptoms. it is therefore improtant not to compare yourself to anyone else who has the disease. Some of the symptoms you may experience are highlighted below but you must remember not all of thes will be relevant to you.

Speech: Some people experience changes in their speech. They may be aware the pitch or tone of their speech has changed or words may become slurred. Projecting the voice may be more difficult and so talking can become much quieter.
