Description

This course is designed to equip the individual with literacy skills for the work place with the emphasis on practical application of communication skills.

The initial stage is on line assessment with the outcome that individual learning needs are identified, study planned with the individual and supported learning. The course is completed when the individual successfully completes an examination to the required level.

This Certificate is recognised throughout the UK by employers and is transferable to settings other than healthcare.

 

It should be noted that applicants wishing to undertake NVQ at levels 2 and above will be required to attain both certificates if they cannot provide evidence of level 2 equivalency in numeracy and literacy eg GCSE above grade C in English or Maths, Relevant NVQ 2 or above or any BTEC at level 2 or above
