This is recommended for those whether in a management role or those not but aspire to
develop as a manager. Additionally this course undertaken as part of Level 3 / 4 NVQ
in Management.Please note that regretfully as of 03/06/10 the course has been postponed at this time and will run again at a time to be decided.

This is a course open to staff working at bands 5 and above of LTHT and is via Leeds City College Business School.

There are a limited number of places on this course which is funded by Organisational Learning within the Trust
Eligibility criteria: (Note consideration )
- You should have been working in the Trust for at least 2 years
- Ideally you should be at pay bands 3 - 5
- You should be in a management or supervisory role (this may include managing systems and processes)
Unfortunately the department cannot fund you if;
- You already possess a first or higher degree
- You are a registered healthcare practitioner
- You are not employed by the Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust (If any of these exclusions apply, you can still access this course but you must secure your own funding)
How to apply: Initially you should contact by email management-nvqcentre@leedsth.nhs.uk and arrange an appointment to discuss the appropriateness of this course.
Please note; the initial module for this course is undertaken within the Trust and runs over lunch time 12 - 1 on the following days.
