Anterior segment OCT

Anterior segment OCT (Ocular Coherence Tomography) involves the measurement of a series of cross sections of the anterior segment of eye, including the cornea, iris, angle, and lens, at present with the Visante OCT. The Visante OCT uses 1310-nm infrared light to visualize a "slice" through the anterior chamber.

This service is available for patients at the main eye clinic via St. James's Laser Vision based at St. James's University Hospital.
