Corneal topography
Corneal topography involves measurement of the anterior (and posterior with
the Orbscan) corneal surface, giving a two dimensional representation of the
three dimensional corneal surface, at present with the TMS Corneal topographer,
the Atlas topographer and the Orbscan.
This service is available for patients at the main eye clinic and St. James's Laser Vision based at St. James's University Hospital.

Anterior segment OCT
Anterior segment OCT (Ocular Coherence Tomography) involves the measurement of a series of cross sections of the anterior segment of eye, including the cornea, iris, angle, and lens, at present with the Visante OCT. The Visante OCT uses 1310-nm infrared light to visualize a "slice" through the anterior chamber.
This service is available for patients at the main eye clinic via St. James's Laser Vision based at St. James's University Hospital.
