Corneal clinics
The Optometry department provides support for ophthalmology patients with anterior segment eye problems in the anterior segment (corneal) clinics.
Specialist trained optometrists work alongside the ophthalmology team in these clinics to assess and manage patients with anterior segment eye disease.
At present the Optometry department provides support on Thursday and Friday mornings at the main eye clinic based at St. James's University Hospital.
