The Leeds Regional Anaesthesia Course is designed specifically for consultants and senior specialist registrars with an interest in peripheral nerve block techniques.
This course is held in Leeds over 3 days and utilises the facilities of the anatomy department of The University of Leeds, The Hand Day Surgery Unit of Leeds General Infirmary (a combined orthopaedic and plastic surgery unit) and Chapel Allerton Orthopaedic Centre.
The course is designed to provide expert in-depth instruction, bringing together the most up-to-date technology and techniques. Expertly prepared cadaver specimens, live models, high quality multi-media resources, ultrasound-guided techniques and in-theatre demonstrations on specially selected patients combine to make this one of the most advanced courses of its kind in the United Kingdom.
Pre-course material includes the textbook/DVD Peripheral Nerve Blocks and Peri-Operative Pain Relief.
