The purpose of
such discussions are;

to support the CMT R&D leads in their role
-
to enable the R&D Director and department to develop a collective vision for R&D activity in the Trust
-
promote high quality R&D
-
Improve Trust/University research collaborations
-
promote communications between the Trust R&D Department and researchers

Directorate Research Leads
Each Clinical Management
Team (CMT) in the Trust has at least one nominated Research Lead who takes
responsibility for research within their area. Where a CMT has not yet identified
a Research Lead the Clinical Director acts as the lead for research. For a
