Forum provides a regular advisory forum at which the following aspects of

Research governance

Trust Annual report to the Department of Health on R&D
The purpose of
such discussions are;

to support the CMT R&D leads in their role
-
to enable the R&D Director and department to develop a collective vision for R&D activity in the Trust
-
promote high quality R&D
-
Improve Trust/University research collaborations
-
promote communications between the Trust R&D Department and researchers

R&D Programme leads

University research group leads
-
R&D Director
-
R&D Department representation
-
Nursing, Allied Health Professional and scientist professional representation

Directorate Research Leads
Each Clinical Management
Team (CMT) in the Trust has at least one nominated Research Lead who takes
responsibility for research within their area. Where a CMT has not yet identified
a Research Lead the Clinical Director acts as the lead for research. For a
