The Supplies Department has been recognized as a Laureate finalist by the Computerworld Honours Program. The Honourees were commemorated at the 22nd Annual Laureates Medal Ceremony & Gala Awards Evening on June 7, 2010 at the Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium in Washington , D.C. |
A meeting of the National e-Enablement Group was held in the Board Room at the Leeds General Infirmary on the 17th February 2010. The meeting was well attended and included presentations from NHS organisations, the Department of Health and Buying Solutions. |

NHS Supply Chain works in parallel to other procurement options within the LTHT. 
Nexus acts as an information warehouse for procurement activities within the trust. Information such as Supplier-managed catalogues and contract info can be held here.
This system acts as a hub for a large proportion of the Trust order communications. This allows for greater information consistency and traffic monitoring.
