Products and Services
The Trust spends in
excess of £280 million on goods and services every year. It is vital,
in order to maximise the amount of funds available for direct patient care,
to procure these goods and services as effectively as possible.
Products and services are obtained by the Trust via a number of
routes, including:
- local agreements negotiated by the Leeds Teaching Hospitals Supplies Department.
- national framework agreements negotiated on behalf of the NHS by NHS PASA
- national framework agreements negotiated on behalf of the NHS by NHS Supply Chain
- pan-Government framework agreements negotiated on behalf of all government bodies by OGCbuying.solutions
- regional agreements negotiated by, or on behalf of, NHS regional collaboratives
These pages cover all product and service procurement areas where guidance or framework agreements are available to NHS bodies.
